- Overview
-
- CONGRATULATIONS! You have purchased the MOST ADVANCED lottery
- software package on the market today. Please read this guide
- carefully to best utilize all of the included program
- functions and learn how to analyze and play numbers for the
- lottery (lotto) game of your choice... TO WIN!
-
- Changes to Version 5.0
-
- The new "The COMPLETE Lottery TRACKER & WHEELER"
- (TRACKER & WHEELER) Version 5.0 is a totally re-written
- program with all new screens and several new features which
- improve this version over all previous versions from both a
- technical and functional capacity. Some of the new Version
- 5.0 highlights include:
-
- * Faster, easier database access and selection
- * All analysis charts now view on screen, file or printer
- * Screen Trend Chart and Statistics Charts now allow sort
- ordering for number performance.
- * New Description Box with each analysis function
- * 50 SYSTEM program will actually MERGE with TRACKER &
- WHEELER
- * Save bets for Roll Your Own and Combine those bets with
- others
- * New Bet Slip feature - Wheels combinations view like your
- bet slip
- * Works with PA Super 7 game and the new POWERBALL game
- * and too many other enhancements to list here....
-
- In any event, you have selected the most popular lottery
- program on the market today for PICK-5, PICK-6 and PICK-7, PA
- Super 7 and POWERBALL lottery (lotto) games. We have heard
- from winners located and playing various lottery games all
- over the country. In fact, at the time of this writing, "The
- COMPLETE Lottery TRACKER and WHEELER" is sold and in use
- in all 50 U.S. States and OVER 36 foreign countries. You can
- be confident that you are using a tested and accepted tool
- for "handicapping" (TRACKING) and using mathematical
- strategies (WHEELING) when playing your lottery numbers.
-
- Getting Started
-
- This version of "The COMPLETE Lottery TRACKER and
- WHEELER" is designed for use by MS-DOS (IBM/Compatible)
- computers which utilize an MS-DOS or PC-DOS Version 2.1 or
- higher Disk Operating System. A single disk drive is
- required, dual disk drives are highly recommended, or, a
- single or dual drive system with a hard disk is ideal. A
- printer is required to fully utilize the capabilities of
- this program, however, this new Version 5.0 allows you to
- create print files which you may edit with most word
- processing programs or "parse" with most spreadsheet
- programs. A color monitor will enhance your enjoyment and use
- (however, this is not a requirement).
-
- "The COMPLETE Lottery TRACKER and WHEELER" (TRACKER and
- WHEELER) will allow you to store UP TO 1000 past officially
- drawn numbers and dates (including UP TO 2 BONUS numbers) on
- single, dual drive and/or hard disk systems. If you are
- limited to a 360K single disk drive system, you should create
- a separate database diskette for your lottery past winning
- data.
-
- This program, as all previous program versions, represents
- the cumulative requests, suggestions, comments and complaints
- of customers who use lottery software products. We believe
- this is the best lottery software product available on the
- market today. Please feel free to forward your comments
- about this program as we will consider that information for
- future upgrade releases. Also, we have many, many letters
- from satisfied customers who have won large cash prizes using
- the TRACKER and WHEELER program. Please drop us a line when
- you are a winner, too!
-
- Starting The Program
-
- Single Or Dual Drive Systems
-
- If you own a single drive or a dual drive system, or, if you
- own a system with a hard drive but do not wish to install the
- TRACKER and WHEELER program on that hard drive, simply insert
- the program disk into your "A>" system drive and type
- LOTTERY to start the TRACKER & WHEELER program. It's that
- simple! If you wish to start the program from your "B>"
- drive, simply change to your "B>" system drive and, with the
- program disk in your "B>" drive, type LOTTERY to start the
- TRACKER and WHEELER program.
-
- A Note About Single Disk Drive Systems
-
- If you run the TRACKER and WHEELER program on a 360K single
- drive computer (on a system without a hard drive), you will
- need to use a separate lottery database diskette. The program
- will prompt you to insert the database diskette as required.
- This ONLY applies to an IBM-PC or XT class computer with a
- 5.25" disk drive. There aren't too many systems out there
- like this, however, you CAN still run the program. If you
- have a 1.2 Meg 5.25" drive or a 3.5" 720K drive, this will
- not be a problem. In fact, you can copy the contents of the
- program disk to a 1.2 Meg 5.25" diskette if you have a high
- density single disk drive, which will also eliminate this
- disk space problem. In any event, you can store up to 1000
- lotto records, PER FILE, on any system with a single, dual
- drive, hard drive, 720K drive, or high density drive. Space
- permitting, you can store as many lottery database files as
- you wish.
-
- Installing Onto A Hard Drive
-
- We have included a batch program on the TRACKER & WHEELER
- program disk which includes an install program called
- INSTALLH. INSTALLH will install the TRACKER and WHEELER
- program onto your hard drive. With the TRACKER and WHEELER
- disk in either your "A> " or "B>" system drive, type at the
- prompt: INSTALLH d:, where the "d:" represents the drive to
- which you wish to install the TRACKER and WHEELER program.
- In other words, if you wish to install the TRACKER and
- WHEELER program on your "C>" drive, pl ace the program
- diskette into your "A>" system drive and at the "A>"
- system prompt, type: "INSTALLH C:". This command will create
- a sub-directory on your "C>" drive hard disk called \EOL. To
- start the TRACKER and WHEELER program, simply go to y our
- "d>" system drive and change to the EOL subdirectory (type:
- CD EOL at the "d>" system prompt), then type LOTTERY to
- start the TRACKER and WHEELER program.
-
- NOTE: The INSTALLH.BAT program is included as a convenience
- for our customer hard drive installation. The TRACKER &
- WHEELER program disk is NOT copy protected. You can also use
- the MS/PC-DOS "COPY" command to install the TRACKER & WHEELER
- program files. We recommend that you first create a sub-
- directory called \EOL and copy the program files to that
- location.
-
- When the program begins, you will see the Introduction Screen
- Main Menu.
-
- Compilation Speed of Tracker and Wheeler Reports.
-
- On older IBM/Compatible computers, some of the reports and
- screens may take two or three minutes when compiling the
- required data for display or printing. The larger your data
- base (in any case), the longer the data compilation time
- required. In any event, from our in-house tests with these
- computers, the longest compilation time for a 500 drawing
- data base should not exceed about 6-8 minutes.
-
- Other Notes
-
- When you are required to make a keyed entry input, the
- TRACKER and WHEELER program checks to see that the proper
- input has been entered. The TRACKER and WHEELER program will
- ignore invalid entries or provide a screen error message when
- invalid entries occur. Pressing <ESC> will return you to the
- last menu level in most situations.
-
- The TRACKER & WHEELER program is NOT Copy Protected. This
- means that you are allowed to make a backup copy for your own
- personal use. You specifically DO NOT have the right to make
- copies to give to other computer users. Please refer to the
- User' s Manual rear cover for Copyright and License To Use
- Agreement for additional information. If you damage the
- program disk and require replacement, refer to the section in
- this guide entitled "Damaged Disk Replacement Policy" for
- additional information.
-
- System Setup
-
- The TRACKER and WHEELER program is designed for use with
- PICK-5, PICK-6, PICK-7, PA Super 7 and POWERBALL lottery
- games where you choose from UP TO 80 numbers. At the time of
- this writing, the largest U.S. PICK-6 lottery choose from
- number is 54 (New York 6/54, etc.). We have designed a
- certain flexibility into the TRACKER and WHEELER program so,
- as lottery drawing choose from numbers change, you can
- create a new lottery data base to accommodate them. We hear
- rumors of a possible 6/59 or 6/60 National U.S. lottery to
- begin sometime in the future. If this does occur the TRACKER
- and WHEELER will be ready! NOTE: It is highly recommended
- that you create a NEW lottery data base whenever the pick
- from number CHANGES in the game you play. This is due to the
- fact that the balls and machines will change, thus, the
- trends for those games will be different from the original
- changed game. A new feature of Version 5.0 is the ability to
- work with the PA Super 7 game and POWERBALL. The se
- capabilities require that you setup the lottery database
- specifically for PA Super 7 and POWERBALL games.
-
- SYSTEM SETUP is where you begin every session within the
- TRACKER & WHEELER program. Here is where you select the
- lottery database you wish to use.
-
- This section allows you to begin a new lottery database or
- delete a database.
-
- The Setup Menu also allows you to specify the type and layout
- of your lottery betting slip so you can customize the TRACKER
- & WHEELER program to display Wheeling System bets or Roll
- Your Own bets in a ticket format similar to the lottery
- commission betting slip for the game you play. You can also
- turn SOUND and COLOR ON/OFF in this selection menu.
-
- Select a Lottery Database Screen
-
- Select A Lotto Data Base
-
- The TRACKER & WHEELER V5.0 ia designed to streamline the
- lottery database selection process. Each time you begin the
- TRACKER & WHEELER program, you will select the lottery
- database you wish to work with. By highlighting and pressing
- <ENTER> at the Select a Lottery Database choice, the screen
- which follows shows the current directory lottery database
- files. You can press <Tab> to move to the Path: entry field
- and change to a different directory or disk location for
- other lottery databas e files.
-
- NOTE: All lottery database files have an extension of
- '.EOD'. If you have a previous version of the TRACKER &
- WHEELER and are currently working with databasae files
- entitled NUMBERS.EOL, simply use the DOS RENAME command to
- change that lottery datab ase file to any file name you wish
- with an '.EOD' file name extension. Your filename must be 8
- characters or less and should be descriptive of the lottery
- database it actually is, such as:
-
- RENAME NUMBERS.EOL NY6-54.EOD
-
- Add a NEW Lotto Data Base
- Naming the Data Base
-
- Adding a lotto data base is a simple process for PICK-5,
- PICK-6, or PICK-7 lotto games. Select the SYSTEM SETUP "pull-
- down" menu and then highlight the Select a Lottery Database
- choice or simply press "S" to invoke that choice. The
- previous page shows an image of the Select a Lottery Database
- screen. Once in the main Select a Lottery Database screen,
- use the <Tab> key to move to the ADD a Lottery Database
- window and press <ENTER>. The screen which follows allows you
- to add parameters of the lottery game file you wish to
- create. You are first prompted for an eight (8) digit file
- name for the data base you wish to create. We suggest that
- you create a file name that will help describe the lotto game
- contained within that file, such as: "NY 6-54" or "FLA5-39",
- etc. Just about any character can be used except for those
- characters which describe file path locations like the "\" or
- ":" characters. You can have any number of characters in the
- file name UP TO 8. If your file name has less th an 8
- characters, press <ENTER> to continue to the FILE DESCRIPTION
- field.
-
- Giving the File a Description
-
- Once you name your lotto data base file, you can now provide
- a description of that file which will appear on some reports.
- This is an easy process where you simply type a description
- which pertains to your data base file. An example could be:
- "New Y ork 6/54 Game". You have UP TO 23 characters of space
- for your description. Again, we suggest you use a description
- which makes sense for the lotto data base you are creating.
- If you use less than 23 characters for your description,
- simply press <ENT ER> to move to the PICK field.
-
- You can now use the TRACKER and WHEELER for PICK-5, PICK-6
- ,PICK-7, PA Super 7 and the new POWERBALL lotto games.
- Because of these new game capabilities there are 4 game
- identifying fields which must be filled in to specify to the
- TRACKER & WHEELER the type of game you are playing.
-
- Selecting the LOTTERY PICK Number
-
- Most of the time, the Lottery Pick number is the same as the
- You Pick number, (eg.: 5, 6, or 7).In the case of the PA
- Super 7 lotto game, however, the Lottery Pick is 10 numbers
- while the You Pick number is only 7. This added distinction
- tells the TRACKER & WHEELER program that the analysis field
- of lottery commission selected numbers is 10 although the
- number of entries which will be made on a lottery betting
- slip is only 7 numbers. In any event, enter the number of
- balls the lottery commission selects in each drawing (not
- including any additional BONUS number(s)).
-
- Selecting the BONUS Number
-
- The TRACKER & WHEELER is designed for up to 2 BONUS numbers.
- This means that players of the Australian Lotto Gold game,
- for instance, can set the program for the two BONUS numbers
- selected in that game. If a BONUS number is present in the
- game you play, the TRACKER & WHEELER will prompt you to
- declare whether this is a POWERBALL type game. POWERBALL is
- a new game which has a separate drum of balls which match
- each of the regularly selected balls.
-
- This game allows for the BONUS number to possibly repeat one
- of the regular numbers. In fact, the only way to win the
- Jackpot is by matching the POWERBALL with a regular number.
- This means that separate analysis of the POWERBALL is helpful
- and there is a good chance that the POWERBALL will match the
- regular selected numbers, on occasion. You will have
- different options in the Analysis area when you identify your
- game as a POWERBALL game type.
-
- Selecting the PICK FROM Number
-
- The TRACKER and WHEELER will now work with any PICK FROM
- number UP TO 80. In other words, the New York 6/54 game has a
- pick from number of 54, or the Massachusetts 6/42 game has a
- pick from number of 42, and so on. Enter the PICK FROM num
- ber in this field and then continue to the YOU PICK field.
-
- Selecting the YOU PICK Number
-
- The TRACKER and WHEELER program now works with games like the
- PA Super 7 so the YOU PICK number can now be different from
- the lottery commission PICK number. Simply enter the number
- 5, 6, or 7 to describe the game you play and the actual
- number of selections you make on that game's lotto bet
- ticket.
-
- Selecting a Directory Path for Your Lotto Data Base
-
- Prior to selection of the ADD New Lottery Data Base is the
- Directory Path entry field. This entry allows you to specify
- the drive and path location for the placement of your lotto
- data base file. When you ar rive at this field, the current
- directory location is the default drive you are currently in.
- In other words, if you store the TRACKER and WHEELER program
- files on your "D>" drive sub-directory called "\EOL", then
- the default Directory Path is "D:\EOL". You can either store
- this new data base in that location or select a different
- drive and/or directory. This option makes the new TRACKER and
- WHEELER program extremely flexible while allowing you to
- store multiple lotto data bases in multiple locations.
-
- When you have completed the entry fields for your new data
- base, simply press the <Esc> key to return to the Main Menu
- area.
-
- Delete Lottery Data Base
-
- Deleting a lottery database is as easy as selecting a lottery
- database to use. From the Select a Lottery Database choice
- under the SETUP Menu, simply highlight the lottery database
- you wish to select and press <ENTER>. On the following
- screen, highlight the DELETE button and press <ENTER>. This
- will REMOVE the lottery database from the disk or drive
- location specified. BE CAREFUL, unlike earlier versions of
- the TRACKER & WHEELER, the database is GONE once deleted!
-
-
- Converting TRACKER and WHEELER Lottery Data Bases
-
- Unlike the TRACKER & WHEELER program Version 4.0, the Version
- 5.0 actually performs the convert function automatically.
- You MUST, however, name your database with an '.EOD' file
- extension. See the information given to do this under "Select
- a Lottery Database".
-
- The Winning Numbers Bank
-
- The WINNING NUMBERS BANK is where you maintain and store past
- winning lottery drawings and dates. You can ADD,
- UPDATE/CHANGE, or DELETE drawing dates and numbers in this
- section. If this is your first time using the TRACKER and
- WHEELER program, this is generally where you will want to
- start after finishing the initial SYSTEM SETUP. At Least 10
- Lottery Drawings Dates And Numbers Must Be Entered Into The
- Selected Lottery Data Base Before You Will Be Able To Fully
- Utilize The TRACKER and WHEELER Program. The TRACKER and
- WHEELER will come to life as more and more entries are added
- to the lottery data base. Select the NUMBERS choice on the
- Intro Screen Main Menu. You will see three selections on the
- NUMBERS MENU: ADD Winning Numbers, View Lottery Data Base,
- and EDIT Lottery Data Base. Either Highlight your menu
- choice or type the "key" letter ("A", "V", or "E") to begin
- using any of these features.
-
- Adding Winning Dates and Numbers
-
- To add past winning dates and numbers, select ADD Winning
- Numbers from the NUMBERS Menu. After a short pause, your
- screen will display the ADD Winning Numbers entry screen.
-
- Note that the cursor is blinking in the first character space
- of the DATE field. The TRACKER and WHEELER program is waiting
- for you to enter the lottery drawing date as MM/DD/YY. If you
- decide that you don't want to be here, press <ESC> to
- return to the Intro Screen Main Menu. Let's add a winning
- drawing date and numbers.... You should have an actual
- drawing date and numbers to enter. If you do not, and simply
- want to review the input of dates and numbers, no problem!
- You can always go to EDIT Lottery Drawings and remove lottery
- drawings which you don't want. We will go through ADD Winning
- Numbers, VIEW Lottery Data Base, and EDIT Lottery Data Base
- so you can remove a "test" date if it is not one you wish to
- keep. ADDING a drawing date a nd accompanying numbers is an
- easy process. Enter the Month, Day, and Year for the lottery
- drawing date. Note that Month and Day numbers which are less
- than 10 must be added as "0" and then type "1" through "9"
- and then press <ENTER> (or <RETURN>, on some keyboards).
- This entry method ONLY applies to the DATE field. When
- entering past winning lotto numbers which are less than 10,
- you can simply type "1" through "9" and then press <ENTER> to
- force the leading "0" for those numbers. IT IS UP TO YOU TO
- ADD THE CORRECT DATE! The TRACKER and WHEELER will test for a
- Month field greater than 12 or a Day field greater than 31.
- Since we are quickly nearing the year 2000, we have not put a
- limitation on the Year field. If you enter an "alpha"
- character (A, #, - , etc.) the program will prompt you to re-
- enter that date. Remember, if you make a mistake you can
- always go back and make a change or press <ESC> anywhere
- within the date field. The TRACKER and WHEELER will check
- your data base of lottery drawings entered to make sure you
- are not duplicating a previously entered date. If an existing
- date is found, you will see a system message which explains
- that that date already exists. If no duplication of the date
- you have entered is found, the cursor will move to the first
- number drawn entry field. If you have not entered a drawing
- date yet, do that now. Note that you do not have to press
- <ENTER> unless you are entering a date number field which is
- less than 10. Entering the officia lly drawn lottery numbers
- for the game you play can be entered in any sequence. The
- program will check each drawing number entered to test
- whether it is within the CHOOSE FROM range, whether you have
- duplicated a drawn number from the same date sequence, or
- whether an invalid (alpha) character has been entered as a
- drawn number. After you have entered all 5, 6 or 7 officially
- drawn numbers for your specified drawing date, (plus BONUS
- number(s), if applicable), a system message will appear
- asking if the entry is correct. Type "Y" or "y" for YES or
- "N" or "n" for NO. If you type "N" or "n", the date and
- numbers will disappear and the cursor will return to the
- first Month entry field. If the date and numbers are correct,
- the date and numbers will appear at the top right hand side
- of your screen.
-
- As you add more dates and numbers the drawings on the top
- right of your screen will grow in number with a new addition
- for each new entry. With each new date and numbers entry, a
- counter above the date and number entry fields will change to
- show the total number of dates and drawings in your lottery
- data base. After each date and accompanying number entry the
- TRACKER and WHEELER will ask if you want to ADD more dates
- and numbers. If you type "Y" or "y" the cursor will return to
- the Month entry field for the next date entry. If you type
- "N" or "n" you will be prompted to press <Esc> to return to
- the Intro Screen Main Menu.
-
- While this process may seem relatively simple, and, in fact,
- it is a simple process to enter winning dates and numbers,
- the TRACKER and WHEELER is checking the accuracy of every
- entry you make! This is an added feature of "The COMPLETE
- Lottery TRACKER and WHEELER" program.
-
- View Lottery Data Base
-
- To VIEW or PRINT the currently selected lottery data base,
- choose the NUMBERS heading on the Intro Screen Main Menu and
- then highlight the VIEW Lottery Data Base choice or type "V"
- to invoke this choice. You can view the lottery data base on
- the scre en by using the UP/DOWN arrow keys and PgUp/PgDn
- keys. At any time you can select the option to PRINT the
- lottery data base by pressing the letter "P".
-
- Edit/Delete Lottery Data Base
-
- There may be times when you find an error in a date or number
- previously added to your lottery data base. When this
- happens you can use the EDIT Lottery Data Base feature from
- the NUMBERS heading on the Intro Screen Ma in Menu.
-
- Simply highlight the EDIT Lottery Numbers choice and press
- <ENTER> or type the letter "E" to invoke this feature. The
- EDIT Lottery Numbers screen is very similar to the VIEW
- Lottery Numbers screen in appearance, with several
- additional functions.
-
- EDIT Lottery Numbers
-
- As with the VIEW Lottery Numbers feature, you can use the
- UP/DOWN arrow keys and PgUp/PgDn keys to move through the
- selected lottery data base, however, we add the use of the
- LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys to edit individually drawn numbers.
- Simply move to t he number or date you wish to change and
- press <ENTER> to edit. If you wish to DELETE a lottery
- drawing, move to the line for that drawing and press
- <Cntl>-D to erase that line from the data base. If you make
- changes and them wish to UN-DO then, press the <ESC> key to
- abandon the previously made changes. Press the <END> key if
- you wish to save the changes you have made.
-
- Searching High and Low
-
- The ANALYZE selection from the Intro Screen Main Menu brings
- you to the TRACKER and WHEELER module that analyzes your
- lottery data base numbers to help you select which numbers to
- play. You will be able to select from SCREEN, FILE and
- PRINTER Trend Charts, NUMBER STATISTICS, SKIP and HIT
- Analysis, NUMBER SEQUENCE, NUMBER OCCURRENCE, REPEATING SETS,
- FOLLOWING NEXT, DATABASE SEARCH and SUMMARY INFORMATION
- CHARTS, more analysis than any other lottery software
- program. If this is your first time u sing the TRACKER and
- WHEELER, or, if you have just created a new lottery database,
- you MUST have at least 10 drawings in your data base to
- proceed with this menu selection. To select any of the
- analysis features of the TRACKER and WHEELER program, se lect
- ANALYSIS from the Intro Screen Main Menu and then highlight
- your analysis choice and press <ENTER> or type the "key"
- letter for that analysis feature. What follows is an
- explanation of each analysis tool.
-
- Screen Trend Chart
-
- The first data base view, The SCREEN TREND CHART, gives you,
- in graphic format, a HIT FREQUENCY of each number you choose
- from. The light and dark bars represent the odd and even
- numbers, and you can see at a glance, which numbers have been
- hitting as HOT (well above the average hit rate for ALL
- numbers), DUE (well below the average for all numbers) or
- AVERAGE (right at or about the average for all numbers).
- Remember, this chart shows the CUMULATIVE hit frequency for
- ALL the numbers in the lottery data base. This is a good way
- to get a quick "overview" of the hit performance for all
- numbers but it doesn't really help when looking at current
- trends of individual numbers. Some people like to play the
- HOT, DUE or EOL COMBINATION numbers when selecting a bet
- method on the PLACE YOUR BETS Menu. The numbers selected are
- taken using this cumulative hit basis. If you identify trends
- of individual numbers, you should select YOUR OWN NUMBERS
- from the PLACE YOUR BETS Menu. As we have said previously,
- we DO have customers who have won SUBSTANTIAL cash prizes by
- selecting from this chart. It is up to you to decide how you
- pick your numbers to play. If your CHOOSE FROM number exceeds
- 42, press the RIGHT/LEFT arrow keys to change the chart view.
- Also, when you press "A", an AVERAGE line will
- appear/disappear on the graph. Use the new SORT functions for
- different lottery database views..
-
- Spot Trend Chart
-
- The second data base view. The SPOT TREND CHART is completely
- different from the SCREEN TREND CHART. This chart was modeled
- after the trend chart that many lottery handicapping
- "experts" suggest you create with pen and hand -with a big
- difference! First of all, you receive a sorted and printed
- "hard copy" listing of dates and numbers. You can select
- from 10 to ALL of the drawings in your lottery database to be
- included. Next, all of the draw ings included in the SPOT
- TREND CHART are compiled for you, producing a HIT SCORE at
- the end of the chart. This HIT SCORE shows the "HOT" numbers
- as "+", the "DUE" numbers as "-", and the "AVERAGE" hitting
- numbers as "A". If your data base includes BONUS numbers,
- they will appear in the chart as a "B". You can use this
- chart to visually check for the hit trend of each individual
- number in terms of when the numbers appeared in a set group.
- The information displayed at the end of this chart is
- similar to the SCREEN STATISTICS Chart, however, you can
- select the past number of drawings to include for an overall
- performance frequency. Press "V" for the view statistics of
- these numbers.
-
- Numbers Statistcs Chart
-
- The third data base view. When you select the NUMBER
- STATISTICS CHART from the ANALYSIS Menu, the TRACKER and
- WHEELER provides a third "view" of the lottery data base
- number trends. This chart includes a RECENCY analysis through
- the L 10 (Last 10 dr awings) column so you can judge if a
- "DUE" number is becoming "HOT", etc. The first column
- represents the CHOOSE FROM number selected (1 through 48 or 1
- through 54, etc.). The second column identifies the actual
- number of times the choose from number has appeared based on
- all of the drawings in your lottery database. The third
- column (L10) shows how the individual choose from numbers
- have appear in the LAST 10 drawings. We have several
- customers who tell us that they only play the LAST 10 column
- numbers which are appearing most frequently.
-
- Number Statistics Chart
-
- See our later section on HOT, DUE and AVERAGE numbers for
- further explanation of number selection trends and methods.
-
- Skip and Hit Chart
-
- The fourth data base view. The inclusion of the SKIP and HIT
- CHART in the Version 5.0 Deluxe Upgrade of "The COMPLETE
- Lottery TRACKER and WHEELER" has come about due to the
- overwhelming number of requests from customers of our
- earlier releases. This is a simple chart to follow and an
- extremely useful tool once you become familiar with how to
- read it. The first column, of course, represents the CHOOSE
- FROM numbers in the lottery game you play. The 2nd through
- 25th column represents the SKIP and HIT frequency for each
- individual CHOOSE FROM number. In other words, if the CHOOSE
- FROM number "1" has a score or "4" under the second column
- heading labeled "00", this means, from the history of ALL
- drawings in your lottery database, the number "1" has
- immediately RE-APPEARED in the VERY NEXT drawing a total of
- "4" times. Or, put another way, the number "1" has been
- selected in a drawing and then re-selected in the immediately
- following drawing "4" times based on the history of numbers
- in your lottery database. The third column labeled "01"
- represents the number of times the CHOOSE FROM number has
- appeared, SKIPPED ONE DRAWING, and then re-appeared again.
- The fourth column labeled "02" represents the number of
- times the CHOOSE FROM number has appeared, SKIPPED TWO
- DRAWINGS, and then re-appeared again, etc. Your job is to
- look at the skip performance of individual numbers based on
- their skip and hit frequency when selecting numbers to play.
-
- You can use this chart to help identify trends of numbers
- when selecting which numbers to play in the very next
- drawing. If the CHOOSE FROM number "4" (chart column 1) shows
- a tendency to appear and then skip 2 or 3 drawings before it
- re-appears, you would want to select the number 4 to play in
- the next drawing if it last appeared 2 or 3 drawings back.
-
- Number Sequence Chart
-
- The fifth data base view. The NUMBER SEQUENCE CHART is
- another feature added to the TRACKER and WHEELER program. The
- NUMBER SEQUENCE CHART provides a display of the last 25
- drawing sequence (appearance) of the individual CHOOSE FROM
- numbers in your lottery data base. You can select to include
- or not include BONUS numbers (if applicable) when printing
- this chart. The "##", or, in the case of BONUS numbers the
- "BB",("PB" for POWERBALL and "P#" where the POWERBALL and
- regular number match), depicts the actual drawing appearance
- of the individual CHOOSE FROM number. The numbers in between
- the "##" or "BB" display the number of "misses" between
- appearances of the choose from numbers. This chart is
- helpful in determining which numbers to play in the next
- drawing by matching the number sequence against the SKIP and
- HIT performance chart. You can also determine the short-term
- trends of individual numbers and their drawing sequence. If
- you match the cumulative performance of individual numbers as
- displayed on the SCREEN TREND CHART or the NUMBER STATISTICS
- CHART, the NUMBER SEQUENCE CHART provides additional analysis
- for number selection on a RECENCY basis. Also useful as a
- tool for determining, simply, how long it has been since any
- individual number was drawn.
-
- Number Occurrence Chart
-
- The sixth database view. This addition to the TRACKER and
- WHEELER program displays, by past drawing position, how many
- times an individual CHOOSE FROM number has appeared over the
- last 50 drawings. In other words, if the CHOOSE FROM number
- "1" has a ppeared 12 times in the "-10" column, this means
- that from the 10th drawing back to the 59th drawing back, the
- number "1" has appeared 12 times. If the number "1" has
- appeared 9 times in the "-1" column, this means the choose
- from number "1" has appe ared 9 times from the most recent
- past drawing through the 49th drawing back. Confusing? It
- really isn't. Print out a copy of this chart and then re-read
- this section. You will find, after becoming familiar with the
- information available here, why th is chart has been asked
- for by our customer base so many times.
-
- Repeating Sets Chart
-
- The seventh data base view. The REPEATING SETS Chart
- represents the performance of PICK FROM numbers in PAIRS and
- TRIPLES with other PICK FROM numbers. Each PICK FROM number
- is compared with all previous drawings to determine which
- PICK FROM numbers appeared together, in frequncies of two or
- more times. After compiling PAIRS and TRIPLES results, you
- can select the frequency of combinations to print in your
- charts. The output charts display first, the frequency of
- occurence and second, the numbers which actually appeared
- together in PAIRS or TRIPLES in the past number of drawings
- you have specified to include (10 to ALL drawings).
-
- Data Base Summary Analysis Chart
-
- The eighth data base view. The DATA BASE SUMMARY CHART
- displays the number of sets of single numbers, teens,
- twenties, etc. through seventies selected in past drawings.
- Percentages of each set type are also displayed. The total
- number of drawing an d the average total of numbers for each
- group of drawn numbers is also included. This chart can be
- used as a handy reference for the overall performance and
- statistics of the cummulative data base file.
-
- Database Following Last Chart
-
- The Following Last Chart is probably the most complicated
- chart to understand, but it is one of the most beneficial.
- This illustrates, in graph format, the numbers which
- traditionally follow the winning numbers selected in the LAST
- drawing in your database. To illustrate, let's look at an
- example. Last night's drawing was: 12-18-23-32-37-42 and you
- are trying to decide what to play for the very next drawing.
- This chart will analyze your past drawings and, every time it
- sees that the number 12 has hit, it will track that winning
- number against the numbers appearing in the next following
- drawing. The TRACKER & WHEELER does this analysis for each
- drawn number and then displays, in graph format, which
- numbers tend to follow the last drawn numbers and the
- frequncies of each.
-
- Data Base Search
-
- The DATA BASE SEARCH feature on the ANALYSIS MENU allows you
- to enter between 3 and 18 numbers to check the past drawings
- in the lottery database for winners. You can, for instance,
- check the numbers you are about to play to see how they have
- done in the past. You enter the numbers to search as you
- would enter numbers in the SELECT YOUR OWN NUMBERS bet
- facility and the system will print out all 3 or more number
- matches against past tickets, by date. This was one of the
- most asked for new additions to the TRACKER and WHEELER
- program. Some would suggest that this is another analysis
- tool, in itself. Others have asked for this feature so they
- could quickly and easily check old tickets against the
- database of lottery drawings.
-
- Suggestions To Make YOU a Winner!
-
- YOU ARE THE BEST JUDGE
-
- We have provided the analysis tools in the ANALYSIS Menu to
- make it easier for YOU to analyze the past winning numbers,
- and from that analysis, select the best numbers to play.
- While it is true that we have letters on file from customers
- who have won substantial cash prizes by selecting the HOT,
- DUE or EOL COMBINATION numbers (from the PLACE YOUR BETS
- Menu), it is important for you to become familiar with the
- trends which develop from the machines and balls used in the
- lottery game you follow. We highly recommend that you select
- your own numbers to play after analy zing the charts
- provided with this program. This has always worked best for
- us. Becoming familiar with the number trends in the game you
- play is an ART. Your own personal insight is very important.
-
- Use the charts produced by this program to get an overall
- "feel" for the trends of the past officially drawn lottery
- numbers. Look at the SKIP and HIT frequency to see if a
- number has a propensity (leaning) to appear in the next
- drawing you will play. Compare the numbers to be played
- against the SPOT, SEQUENCE and OCCURRENCE charts for trend
- factors. Use the other available tools, such as the Last 10
- column on the STATISTICS HIT CHART and the SPOT TREND CHART
- to find a statistical significance for the numbers you are
- selecting to play. Get to know the lottery you play by
- calling or writing the lottery commission for that game. We
- have been told, for instance, that California uses different
- sets of balls and number selection machines for each lottery
- (you don't suppose they are concerned about trend
- analysis?!?), however, they will tell you which set of balls
- and which machine was used if you contact them AFTER the
- drawing. This program provides a systematic approach to
- number selection so you can play the lottery as intelligently
- as possible. Take advantage of it, the tools are all here!
- Finally, don't overextend yourself. Set aside an amount you
- can afford to play with. If you want to wheel more numbers
- but find the cost prohibitive, form a lottery group or pool,
- and use the resources of all members (this means financial as
- well as analysis resources). There is hardly a week that goes
- by without some mention of a major lottery prize being shared
- by a pool of players somewhere.
-
- How can you use these charts?
-
- Let's look at an example which includes the SEARCHING HIGH
- and LOW analysis charts:
-
- If the CHOOSE FROM number "1" is below the average hit rate
- based on the previous 50 drawing group as displayed in the
- "-1" column on the NUMBER OCCURRENCE CHART, and, if the SKIP
- and HIT chart frequency for the number "1" shows that it
- tends to re-appear after skipping 3 or 4 drawings, and, if
- the NUMBER SEQUENCE chart shows that the last appearance of
- the number "1" occurred 2 or 3 drawings back, the number "1",
- then, would be an excellent choice to include with the
- numbers you play in the very next drawing. You may want to
- compare the SKIP and HIT selected numbers against the PAIR
- and TRIPLES of the REPEATING SETS CHARTS to determine which
- combinations of numbers to play. This is ONE example of how
- to use the analysis charts available in the TRACKER and
- WHEELER program. There is NO specific way to decide which
- numbers to play, and, in fact, you will notice different
- trends bet ween lottery games if you follow more than one. We
- have not attempted to provide a "magical" or "mystical" way
- for you to select numbers to play. We HAVE made every
- attempt to provide the tools which professional lottery
- "handicappers" use to select numbers and those which are in
- greatest demand from our customer group. Experiment! We are
- sure that once you gain a good understanding of what the
- included charts offer in terms of past drawing number
- analysis, you will find a method which works best with the
- specific lottery game you play. Finally, we ARE firm
- believers in the use of trend analysis when selecting which
- lottery numbers to play. Mechanical devices do exhibit
- certain non-random "propensities" (leaning) when it comes to
- ball selection. We have heard from several customers in
- California who were consistently hitting 4 and 5 numbers in
- each lottery drawing, using trend analysis, until the
- California Lottery Commission changed to several sets of
- balls and different machines to use for each drawing. Why, if
- the number selection process was PURELY random, would
- different sets of balls and machines be necessary for each
- lottery drawing? Even with the different sets of balls and
- machines in use, trend analysis over many drawings can be
- very useful!
-
-
-
- Place Your Bets Menu
-
- The PLACE YOUR BETS Menu brings together all of the TRACKER
- and WHEELER features you have used so far. It's nice to be
- able to store the past winning numbers and then run an
- analysis on each, however, we now want to place bets based on
- the information gained from our earlier analysis. Or, maybe
- you feel the analysis is not useful, or you have your own
- favorite numbers to play, or you simply like to play random
- numbers. The TRACKER and WHEELER provides 6 different methods
- for selecting numbers to play and then allows you to choose
- from 20 different number "WHEELING" systems to play those
- numbers for each PICK-5, PICK-6, and PICK-7 game formats - 60
- in all! We will explain each of the number selection methods
- and then provide some insight into the use of "wheeling"
- systems. If you choose HOT, DUE, COMBINATION or ROLL YOUR OWN
- number selection methods, the TRACKER and WHEELER must
- compile the lottery data base to ext ract the required
- numbers for your bet combinations. Compiling is only required
- for your first bet selection while you stay in this menu
- area. All subsequent selections while you remain in the
- PLACE YOUR BETS menu are instantly compiled (with the
- exception of the "ROLL YOUR OWN" selection which changes each
- time you use it).
-
- A Word About Hot, Due, and Average Numbers (Bell
- Curve Analysis)
-
- Based on the Laws of Probability, a lottery number drawn
- MANY, MANY times SHOULD appear an average number of times
- relative to all the other lottery numbers to choose from.
- Like flipping a "fair" coin, after many, many flips the coin
- should app ear "HEADS UP" and "TAILS UP" 50% of the time
- each. The probability of a coin landing "HEADS UP" on any one
- flip is 50% because there are only two possible outcomes.
- With random selection of lottery numbers, the possibility of
- any one number bein g drawn is equal to 1 out of the total
- numbers to choose from. Or, in a PICK-6 from 48 game the odds
- for any individual number to appear as the first drawn number
- is 1 in 48. The odds for any individual remaining number to
- be the second drawn number is 1 in 47 , and so on. When we
- try to classify lottery numbers as HOT, DUE, or AVERAGE, we
- are looking at the historical performance of an individual
- number against the overall average for all the numbers chosen
- from. If the overall HIT average for our group of numbers is
- 10, than an individual number which has appeared 9, 10, or 11
- times could be classified as an AVERAGE performer.
-
- An individual number classification as DUE is a relatively
- easy concept to understand. If the over all average hit rate
- for all the numbers in a particular lottery is 10, then an
- individual number which has appeared only 2 or 3 times could
- be classified as DUE based on our earlier discussion about
- probability. Numbers over many, many drawings SHOULD appear
- an equal number of times, so, a number which is well below
- the overall group average is DUE to be picked based on this
- theory. Many people feel that a DUE number is a DEAD number!
- NOT TRUE, based on the Laws of Probability! Many other
- people ONLY play DUE numbers because of their belief in the
- Laws of Probability.
-
- Conversely, determining whether a number is HOT is easy on
- the one hand but extremely subjective on the other. What we
- are saying is this: If the overall average HIT rate for all
- the numbers in a particular lottery is 10, then an individual
- number which has appeared 17 times or more is,
- affectionately, classified as HOT. In fact, based on the Laws
- of Probability, these numbers should STOP HITTING so the
- other less hit numbers will start to move closer to the
- overall average of the entire group of numbers! This isn't
- to say that many people don't play HOT numbers, just the
- opposite! These players feel the numbers are "influenced" in
- some way to hit more than the DUE and AVERAGE numbers. A
- true sceptic would suggest that there is a "RANDOM WALK" to
- how numbers appear. This would mean that "trends" amount to
- nothing... each and every drawing gives an individual number
- an equal chance of hitting. Probably a better way to view a
- number as HOT is to view a DUE number which is appearing more
- frequently or moving more quickly toward the overall average
- of all numbers more quickly than other DUE numbers. We leave
- this decision to you. We have discussed earlier our belief
- that mechanical devices do exhibit tendencies to be less than
- "RANDOM" when selecting lottery number balls and our
- recommendation to look for number trends which occur outside
- the scope of purely random probability theory. In any event,
- we have designed the TRACKER and WHEELER so you can be of
- just about any opinion when it comes to number selection
- methods for the bets you wish to make. In fact, our RANDOM
- NUMBER SELECTION is designed to be 100 % random (as random as
- a computer can be!) if this is your number selection choice!
- The selection method used to extract HOT numbers for placing
- bets follows the number "influence" school of thought for
- those players who want to play the numbers which have,
- simply, hit the most number of times.
-
- Number Selection Methods
-
- Selection Method Number 1: Select HOT Numbers Only
-
- When you choose HOT NUMBERS as your lottery database
- selection method, the TRACKER and WHEELER will compile the
- HIT results of all numbers and then extract those numbers
- which have hit the most number of times, overall. How many
- numbers to be extracted will be relative to the total numbers
- to be played (wheeled). In any case, the extracted numbers
- will run from the MOST HIT to the NEXT MOST HIT in ascending
- order. In other words, if you decide to play the STRAIGHT
- FIVE, SIX, OR SEVEN bet, the top 6 hitting numbers will be
- extracted for this bet. If you select a 16 number wheeling
- system, the top 16 hitting numbers will be extracted. See
- "Weighting" number selection.
-
- Selection Method Number 2: Select DUE Numbers Only
-
- When you choose DUE NUMBERS as your lottery database
- selection method, the TRACKER and WHEELER will compile the
- HIT results of all numbers and then extract those numbers
- which have hit the least number of times, over all. How many
- numbers to be extracted will be relative to the total numbers
- to be played (wheeled). In any case, the extracted numbers
- will run from the LEAST HIT to the NEXT LEAST HIT in
- ascending order. In other words, if you decide to play the
- STRAIGHT SIX bet, the least 6 hitting numbers will be
- extracted for this bet. If you select a 16 number wheeling
- system, the least 16 hitting numbers will be extracted. See
- "Weighting" number selection.
-
- Selection Method Number 3: EOL Special Combo Selection
-
- Many "experts" suggest that you play a COMBINATION of HOT and
- DUE numbers when placing your lottery wages. We have
- researched all of these suggestions we could find and came up
- with the best determined combination selection. Because each
- number system "wheel" you play has different amounts of
- numbers included, we select a group of both HOT and DUE
- numbers to fill your request. If you are unsure of which
- numbers to play or which system will work best, you may want
- to use this number selection choice as you will include
- numbers from both HOT and DUE number groups. See "Weighting"
- number selection.
-
- New "Weighting" Feature
-
- Many of you have written to our office explaining that you
- like to use the HOT, DUE, or EOL COMBINATION number selection
- choices, however, you want to be able to select some of your
- own numbers because, while they do not appear as HOT or DUE
- when viewed against the entire data base of numbers, they
- have been "running" HOT or DUE in the past several drawings.
- Or, some numbers which are consistenting showing up as HOT or
- DUE based on the overall frequency of the data base of
- drawings NOT appeared for many drawings (as a HOT number
- which was HOT months ago but no longer is), or numbers which
- are now appearing all the time (such as a DUE number which is
- now acting like a HOT number by appearing in recent drawings
- after not having appeared for months of previous drawings).
- With this in mind, and after your numerous requests, you are
- now asked if you wish to "weight" your numbers when the
- TRACKER and WHEELER selects HOT, DUE, RANDOM or COMBINATION
- numbers for you to play.
-
- New "Weighted Number" Feature Screen
-
- You can now select to include up to 6 numbers in your
- wheeling systems which will replace system selected HOT or
- DUE numbers. You may also select to NOT include up to 6
- numbers which the program might otherwise use as HOT or DUE
- numbers. Use the LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys to move to the numbers
- you which to "weight" and then press <ENTER> to select that
- number. A menu will appear which will allow you to "weight"
- that number as a number to be included or not included in the
- program number picks.
-
- Selection Method Number 4: Select Your Own Numbers
-
- Maybe you have the best number selection method of all. In
- fact, we hope you will develop your own group of numbers to
- play after carefully using the analysis tools included with
- the TRACKER and WHEELER program. Personal insight is a very
- important influence for choosing numbers to play.... We want
- you to play your own way. When you choose this number
- selection method, be prepared to enter the numbers you want
- to wheel. Because of the simplicity of the STRAIGHT-SIX bet,
- the TRACKER and WHEELER does not support your own number
- choice for this bet method, ONLY.
-
- Selection Method Number 5: Purely Random Selection
-
- What can we say?? Some people really like the RANDOM
- selection method best. In fact, it can be said the RANDOM
- method most closely resembles a random probability ball
- selection process. Simply choose the system (wheel) you wish
- to play and the TRACKER and WHEELER will randomly select the
- numbers for you.
-
- Selection Method Number 6: Roll Your Own Selections
-
- The ROLL YOUR OWN selections are designed for people who
- prefer not to use wheeling systems. You can create from 1 to
- 100 tickets using this selection method and select from a
- combination total of 6 HOT, DUE, AVERAGE and RANDOM numbers.
- The TRACKER and WHEELER program will create the tickets you
- request and print out the bet combinations for you. If you
- include 1 or more random numbers to be used in your bet
- selections, the created tickets should be different virtually
- every time. You can cover a lot of numbers with this bet
- selection choice, however, there are no mathematical number
- combination guarantees as you will find with the number
- wheeling systems included on the program disk. Our
- contribution to requests for "Quick Picks"!
-
- A Note About "Wheeling" Systems
-
- Why use a "WHEELING" system? Wheeling systems simplify the
- betting process, guarantee a cash prize when the numbers
- drawn appear in your larger group of numbers wheeled, and
- maximize your payoffs through multiple ticket "hits" because
- you play many combinations of the same numbers.
